Custom Workspace service URLs or links make it easy for users to find your core Google Workspace services like Gmail, Calendar, Google Groups, Sites, etc.

For instance, with a custom URL, users can sign in to their Gmail at instead of Or they can sign in to their Calendar at, and so on.

Here's how you can add a custom Workspace URL for Google Workspace

  1. From the Admin console, go to Account settings > Custom URLs.

  2. Select the domain you want to update from the list, and Click on "Custom URLs".

  3. Under a service URL, enter your desired prefix.

    Note: Example prefixes for Google services include calendardrivemailgroups, and sites. If the prefix is already assigned to another service, remove or rename the prefix and click Save. Then add the prefix to the service URL.

  4. Hit Save.

  5. ​​​​​Follow the instructions to add a CNAME record for each custom service address you're customizing. 

  6. Sign in to your account at your domain host's website and add a CNAME record to your domain's DNS records.
  7. Note: For instance, to create the Gmail address, add a CNAME record that points mail to Your domain host records will be something like this:

    Type Name or Host Value or Address
    CNAME mail
    CNAME calendar
    CNAME groups

  8. In the Admin console, click I've completed these steps.

Wait for DNS changes to propagate (this may 24-48 hours)

You will then be able to access your favourite Workspace services via your own branded custom URLs.
