Last year Google introduced the new Workspace product experience and set of offerings to better equip our customers for the future of work. Whether you’re at home, at work, or in the classroom, Google Workspace is now the best way to create, communicate, and collaborate.

Now’s the time to transition from G Suite to Google Workspace

Google has set a deadline (Jan 2022) for legacy G Suite accounts after which G Suite will no longer be available.

As such we are helping our Rocketeers, with a legacy G Suite subscription, to transition to Google Workspace.
There are two ways you can transition:

  • Self-transition your organization within the next 2 weeks, at your convenience (recommended)
We have prepared a Workspace feature comparison report for you which you can use to decide which Google Workspace edition is suitable for your organisation. Make sure you choose an edition that includes the features you rely on today. You can then let us know which Workspace edition you'd like to transition to. We will then transition you from G Suite to your chosen Workspace package accordingly.

  • Automatic transition
In case we don't hear from you after two weeks, from 28 Dec 2021 we will automatically transition your organisation from G Suite to the closest Google Workspace edition as follows:

G Suite Basic >> Workspace Business Standard
G Suite Business >> Workspace Business Plus

Enterprise packages will be upgraded after consultation with our users.

It's important that you get back to us with regards to transitioning to the right Workspace package as as Google Workspace editions' features and pricing differ from G Suite and availability of some apps and functionality will also change.

You can see the new pricing options here:

Those Rocketeers who are currently on the legacy G Suite Basic subscription will be transitioned to Google Workspace Business Standard subscription. You will need to ensure that you do not use:

- Advanced Chat
- Advanced Endpoint Management
- Other features not available in Google Workspace Business Standard

Those Rocketeers who are on G Suite Business package will be transitioned to Workspace Business Plus.

Please review this detailed comparison of Google Workspace editions below to let us know the one most suitable to your needs:

Don't worry, even if you are automatically transitioned to a more expensive edition, you will be able to request us to disable advanced features and downgrade to a cheaper edition after the transition.
